Dr. Lt. Col. (res.) Anat Berko – Co-Founder & President

Anat Berko is a world-renowned expert on terrorism and a policy maker whose research focuses on suicide bombers and their handlers. She is a former member of the Knesset and Lieutenant Colonel (res.), Israel Defense Forces. She is the author of two books and numerous articles on terrorism and government policy in confronting it.

Anat accepted Israeli Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu's request that she join the Likud list for the 20th Knesset and she was elected in March 2015. While a Knesset member, she served as a strategic and security advisor to the Prime Minister. She was the head of the classified subcommittee dealing with cyber security and served as a member of the Knesset’s Security and Foreign Affairs Committee and of the classified subcommittee dealing with intelligence and security services. She also served as head of the Israeli mission to the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE). As a legislator, Anat introduced 12 bills which became law, the majority of which are related to counterterrorism and protecting democracy.

Prior to her service in the Knesset, Anat conducted original research for Israel’s Counterterrorism Team and Israel’s National Security Council and served as an advisor to senior government officials.

Anat has lectured on counterterrorism for NATO and before the United States Congress, State Department, FBI, and armed forces, as well as at many universities throughout the United States and elsewhere abroad.

A sought-after commentator, Anat appears frequently in the international media to provide professional insight about terrorist attacks throughout the world. After a distinguished 25-year career in the military, Anat retired from the Israel Defense Forces in 2003. She holds a PhD in criminology from Bar-Ilan University and is the author of The Path to Paradise: The Inner World of Suicide Bombers and Their Dispatchers, and The Smarter Bomb: Women and Children as Suicide Bombers.

Dr. Col. (res.) Reuven Berko – Co-Founder & CEO

Reuven Berko is a specialist in intelligence operations, psychological warfare, and Human Intelligence. Reuven is one of the early members of the special Israeli military unit 504 – a top human intelligence unit that operates agents beyond Israeli borders, interrogates war prisoners in the field and in captivity, and takes on covert missions in the most dangerous territories in foreign countries and hostile states. For “creative thinking” in operations, Reuven received Israel’s prestigious “Head of the Intelligence Committee Award.” He is still an active 504 member in the reserves.

Reuven is also a distinguished scholar in Islamic and Arab Studies, served as a paratrooper officer in the IDF, and later served in Lebanon and Gaza in various military intelligence positions.

In addition, he served for ten years as advisor on Arab Affairs to the chief of Jerusalem Police (1995-2005). Fluent in Arabic and English as well as Hebrew, Reuven is a frequent guest on major Arab satellite networks, and an analyst for the Arabic speaking channel on Israeli TV.

Throughout his career both with the IDF and the Israeli Police, Reuven developed intimate ties with senior Palestinian and Arab officials involved in the peace process, leading Arab journalists and editors, and prominent Arab diplomats and ambassadors from neighboring Arab countries.

Tzlil Berko – Co-Founder & COO

For many years, Tzlil has worked with experts dealing with radical Islam and global terrorism, providing consultation, and devising media strategy. In the past she worked for private security companies (both high- and low-tech) in a variety of positions, including sales director and marketing PMO for tactical gear, AI and simulations.

Until recently she was the CEO of FeelDare, a company she founded. FeelDare is a unique app that enables businesses to create an on-site community atmosphere and better connect their clientele to the brand.

Tzlil holds a bachelor’s degree in communication and a master’s degree in government (Summa Cum Laude), both from Reichman University.
